Huddersfield Town take a welcome break from Championship action this evening, as they welcome Everton to the John Smith's Stadium in the second round of the League Cup.

Carlos Corberan's side have recorded back-to-back victories in the Championship to put a real shine on their start to the season. Town will be hoping to continue that this evening and deliver a good account of themselves against Everton.

Given there's another Championship opponent in Reading FC just around the corner for the Yorkshire side, there's a chance we could see some squad rotation this evening, as our graphic shows:

Despite the need for a little bit of rotation, Lee Nicholls should continue in goal. It's important that Ryan Schofield gets the protection he needs following a tough start to the season.

Harry Toffolo's return from the bench against Sheffield United on Saturday was impressive, with tonight offering him a chance to get more minutes in the legs.

Levi Colwill needs to be managed carefully and could be rested, with Naby Sarr and Tom Lees a potential defensive duo, whilst Ollie Turton continues at right-back.

Moving into midfield, Alex Vallejo could take on the defensive midfield berth. Lewis O'Brien, meanwhile, is difficult to leave out given his importance to the side.

Alongside that pair in midfield, Danel Sinani could feature in the starting XI. He's yet to get much of a chance under Corberan, although this could be the perfect stage for him.

Rolando Aarons may step up his return on the left, with Duane Holmes potentially featuring on the right. In attack, Fraizer Campbell looks like he will be Corberan's go-to striker in the Championship, so Danny Ward should get the nod in the League Cup.

He needs minutes out of the thrust of the Championship to try and chip into his potential goal tally.
