It was a frustrating day for West Brom on Saturday, as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Preston North End at Deepdale.

Things started badly for the Baggies, who fell behind to Ben Whiteman's strike midway through the first-half, only to equalise on the stroke of half time thanks to Matt Phillips' close range header.

However, Valerien Ismael's side were unable to find a winner during the second half, forcing them to settle for a point.

That means that while West Brom remain unbeaten in the league, they have now dropped to third in the Championship table, after drawing their last three games.

As a result, some West Brom fans were not entirely happy as they took to Twitter to give their thoughts on the game, and one player whose performance came in for some scrutiny, was Jordan Hugill.

Starting for the Baggies for the first time this season, the on-loan Norwich man struggled to make an impact against his former club, squandering one big chance to win the game in the final minutes, going through one on one only to fire straight at Preston 'keeper Daniel Iversen.

That seemingly caused a great deal of frustration among West Brom's fans, and here, we take a look at what some of them had to say about the 29-year-old's latest performance.

We need to develop some composure in possession and we desperately need a goal scorer but as usual we messed that up and got Hugill in instead. He works hard but his CV clearly shows he can’t hit a barn door
