Sheffield United suffered late disappointment last night as Cardiff snatched an undeserved point in stoppage time at Bramall Lane.

The draw means the Blades missed the opportunity to move into the top six although the performance pleased the fans. Chris Wilder’s men missed several chances to go 2-0 up, with Clayton Donaldson the biggest culprit, whilst the Bluebirds had few clear chances themselves.

Midfielder Lee Evans took to twitter today to reveal his frustration at the result and to praise the fans for their support.

The former Wolves man had a very good game, along with John Fleck and John Lundstram in the middle of the park that allowed the Blades to control the game for large parts.

Despite dropping the two points, the majority of Blades fans were delighted with Evans and the team in general for the way they had played against a side going for automatic promotion.

Here we look at some of the responses to his message on twitter…
