Nathan Jones is already back at Luton Town and working with the players, with the club yet to confirm his appointment back as manager.

The former Hatters boss is to return to the club, weeks after Graeme Jones left Kenilworth Road, and just over a year after he himself left the club when they were in League One.

Indeed, he has since been at Stoke City where things did not go how he would have hoped and now he is back working with some familiar faces, with him taking training this morning - as per Pete O'Rourke on Twitter:

The Verdict

Whilst the players might be pleased to work under him again as they look to preserve their Championship status, fans of the club might well need a bit more convincing from him after he left for Stoke last year.

He was revered for the job he did as he guided them to the top of League One but leaving before earning promotion didn't sit well with supporters, and it'll be interesting to see how things go in the coming months - though with no fans in the grounds Jones might well avoid any sour moments, if he can keep the Hatters up especially.
