Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani and CEO Angus Kinnear have traveled to the USA to watch the San Francisco 49ers, which has caused an interesting reaction amongst many fans of the club.

The 49ers are an American Football team who bought a minority stake in Leeds through their investment arm in May 2018.

It is understood that they acquired a shareholding of more than 10% from Radrizanni for a reported fee in the region of £10 million.

Radrizzani and Kinnear have traveled over to the States during the international break, presumably for some meetings with their minority shareholders, and caught a 49ers game at Levi's Stadium while they were there.

The Leeds owner posted images of the pair at the game on his Twitter account yesterday and Whites fans were quick to half-jokily suggest they should be trying to add reinforcements to Marcelo Bielsa’s squad.

The injury to Liam Cooper and the suspension of Gaetano Berardi has left the side short at centre-back, while they have struggled for goals in recent weeks despite having both Patrick Bamford and Eddie Nketiah in their armoury.

Many fans of the Yorkshire club highlighted these issues to their owner in response to his posts yesterday.
