Derby County will be hoping that they can hit the ground running when they return to action after the international break.

The Rams are currently rooted to the bottom of the Championship table, and will be eager to pick up much-needed points in their quest to push up the second-tier standings this term.

The club are currently searching for a new manager as well, after parting company with Phillip Cocu after a poor start to the 2020/21 season.

One player that will be keen to retain his place in the Derby starting XI when they return to action this weekend against Bristol City is winger Kamil Jozwiak.

The Polish international signed for Derby in the summer transfer window, and has made eight appearances in total for the Championship side so far.

Jozwiak was in impressive form during the international break as well, as he score Poland's opener against the Netherlands on Wednesday evening.

His efforts weren't quite enough for his country though, as they fell to a 2-1 defeat late on, with Memphis Depay and Georginio Wijnaldum getting on the scoresheet for the visitors.

Plenty of Derby County supporters were quick to take to social media to react to the news of Jozwiak's goal against the Netherlands, with many keen to see him replicate his impressive showing when he returns to the Rams.
