Many Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to react to manager Sabri Lamouchi's message regarding his future at the City Ground.

The Frenchman has admitted that he is not focusing on his contract situation and is instead looking to guide the Reds to promotion during the remainder of the current campaign.

Lamouchi's existing deal with Forest is set to run out this summer and he has yet to agree fresh terms with the club's owner Evangelos Marinakis.

Since being handed over the reins last year, the 48-year-old has transformed the Reds' fortunes in the Championship.

With 13 games left to play this season, Forest find themselves just four points adrift of Leeds United who currently occupy second-place in the second-tier standings.

Set to host Queens Park Rangers tomorrow, the Reds will be determined to seal victory in-front of their supporters having suffered an unexpected defeat at the hands of Charlton Athletic during their most recent home fixture.

Speaking to BBC Radio Nottingham ahead of the clash about his current situation at Forest, Lamouchi said: "I have this responsibility for me to focus on the right things as it is very important.

"If I think only of my contract, it's a big mistake.

"My contract is not so important, myself is not so important.

"But what we want to realise [promotion] all together is so important because we will keep that for the rest of our lives.

"Especially here in this club, this amazing club with fantastic fans and they are waiting for a long, long time.

"And me, the players, the club, the fans we need to stay together and focus on that.

"13 games and the next one is QPR, we just want to focus on the next three points and to stay in the race and increase the belief."
