‘Sign him up’ – Ivan Toney question has got these Birmingham City fans talking

With the transfer window now open for club’s across Europe, it will be intriguing to see whether Birmingham City opt to bolster their squad before the end of January.
Currently 18th in the Championship standings, the Blues may need to bring in some fresh faces to avoid the possibility of being dragged into a relegation battle in the coming months.
When you consider that Birmingham have only managed to score 33 goals in 27 league games, they could find it beneficial to add to their attacking options by targeting Peterborough United striker Ivan Toney.
Whilst Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony revealed earlier this month that the Blues have yet to make an official approach for the 23-year-old, there is still more than enough time for the club to strike a deal if they are indeed interested.
One of the stand-out performers in League One this season, Toney has scored 15 goals for Peterborough as well as providing three assists for his team-mates.

Although the former Northampton Town man has yet to prove himself at Championship level, the Blues could potentially reach new heights if they opt to take a risk on him.
After Blues HQ asked their followers whether they would welcome a move for Toney in the future, these Birmingham fans offered their thoughts on the matter on Twitter.
