Plenty of Birmingham City fans have taken to Twitter to react to their side's 2-0 defeat to Queens Park Rangers in the Championship at St Andrew's.

Having picked up a morale-boosting victory over Reading at the weekend, the Blues would have been wanting to build upon this particular display against the Hoops last night.

However, after a poor start to proceedings, Pep Clotet's side fell behind on the stroke of half-time as Grant Hall swept past goalkeeper Connal Trueman.

Following the break, the Blues' struggles continued as they failed to break a resilient QPR defence.

The visitors doubled their advantage in spectacular fashion in the 67th minute as Bright Osayi-Samuel dribbled past a number of Birmingham players before firing into the roof of the net.

Unable to deliver a response to this particular setback, the Blues slumped to defeat in front of their own supporters.
