Shrewsbury Town have confirmed the arrival of Blackpool striker Bobby Grant on a one-month loan deal.
The 24-year-old forward said to the Shrewsbury club website: “For myself, it’s about getting out there and playing,”
“I spoke to Micky Mellon and everything sounded good.
“I’ve either played against or played with some of the players here, so it was part of the reason why I came here.
“I know a few of the lads as they are from where I’m from, so it’s a massive help.”
After completing the loan deal for Grant, manager Micky Mellon said to the Shrewsbury Official site: “I am delighted to have Bobby on board, it gives us another good attacking option.
“He’s got an eye for goal which he has shown over his career, and he knows where the net is.
“I look forward to working with Bobby over the next month and hope it will prove fruitful for both of us.”
