Shrewsbury boss blames poor performances on “issues”

Shrewsbury manager Mike Jackson believes that a number of off-field problems have led to their poor performances and potential relegation.
The Shrews currently lie in 23rd position on 41 points. Only two wins in their next two games can save them from the drop but only if other league results fall their way.
Jackson told BBC Radio Shropshire ” A lot has gone on behind the scenes over the last couple of months but it’s not the right time to say.” When asked about the fans he went on to say ” We owe it to the fans. I feel sorry for them and all i can say is that we will fight until the end.”
It is now evident that Shrewsbury will get relegated unless a miracle can happen for the club and after what has surfaced, their relegation would not be a surprise.
