Pontus Jansson took to

/B0_j7ioA4uq/?hl=en">Instagram after enjoying his first win in Brentford colours, and it has caused a stir amongst Leeds fans.

The post, which could be viewed to be purposefully antagonising, shows Pontus Jansson and his teammates in action in their win against Middlesbrough on Saturday, but is accompanied by the caption: 'My team'.

The 28-year-old is captain of The Bees, a role he likely wanted at Elland Road where he viewed himself as a leading figure.

Leeds fans have responded in various ways, some positively but others trying to provoke him in return, so the fanbase is very much split on its view of its former defender.

Jansson was made available for transfer in July following an alleged dispute with Marcelo Bielsa over his return to pre-season training, but the fact he was more or less forced out of the club has been lost on many Leeds fans.

The Swede is now enjoying life as captain of a Championship side with lofty ambitions of their own, but it seems that he will be reminded of his Leeds past continuously for the foreseeable future.

Here is some of the divided reaction from Leeds fans on Instagram.

samiwardtasker: "Leeds is your team mate"

talkleeds: "We all know you wish u were still at Leeds"

jamesduke7: "'Look at me with my captain's armband because I couldn't take it off Cooper at Leeds'"

allinsoncharlotte: "Always be Leeds Mr Jansson"

whatsthisben: "The noise from those empty seats. Oh Pontus oh how you’ll soon realise. #ALAW"

samh_lufc: "You're Leeds and you know you are "

findunn: "Leeds was your team not that long ago, shows your loyalty really"

carriejordan1988: "He didn't choose to leave LUFC he basically had no choice... I'm a Leeds fan and it's embarrassing to see some of these hate/cringy comments from fellow fans."
