Charlton Athletic boss Lee Bowyer has named his starting XI for their clash against Sheffield Wednesday today and many fans of the club are concerned about their diminished squad.

Bowyer has been forced to name just five of the allotted seven substitutes for today's game as the Addicks are undergoing something of an injury crisis at the moment, with many first-team players, including the likes of Chuks Aneke, Tomer Hemed, Lewis Page, George Lapslie and Beram Kayal, missing.

Star striker Lyle Taylor is still missing, while Ben Purrington has dropped out this morning due to illness meaning teenager Alfie Doughty is set to make his full Championship debut.

19-year-old Albie Morgan also starts–having been recalled from his loan at National League side Ebbsfleet United in October.

Forwards Macauley Bonne and Jonathan Leko appear to be Charlton's key goal threats but it could be a difficult afternoon as Wednesday have conceded the fourth-fewest goals in the Championship this season.
