Norwich City's slim hopes of reaching the play-offs were dealt another blow yesterday as they were held to a 1-1 draw with relegation candidates Bristol City.

Norwich travelled to Ashton Gate to face an out of sorts Bristol City side, whose fans were protesting against the manager - Lee Johnson - after picking up just 10 points in 20 games prior to yesterday.

With Norwich manager Alex Neil under some pressure himself, the Canaries really needed to pick up three points to keep alive their outside chance of reaching the top six.

And it looked like it was going smoothly too as Yanic Wildschut's first half strike had the visitors leading until the closing stages.

However, some sloppy defending allowed Bailey Wright to scramble home an equaliser and Norwich were left holding onto their lead by the end.

With Sheffield Wednesday and Fulham both dropping points, it was an opportunity missed and here are the best Norwich fans' Tweets from after the game.
