Plenty of Brentford fans have given their thoughts on the 1-1 draw with Birmingham City on Saturday afternoon.

Thomas Frank’s Brentford side have proved themselves as potential promotion candidates this season and their current league standing of fourth shows exactly how far the club have come in recent times.

Heading into the game with Birmingham on Saturday, Frank’s side arrived having held second-placed Leeds United in midweek.

The Blues however – offered Brentford a different challenge, having gone nine games without a defeat in all competitions.

And, it was Pep Clotet’s side who took the lead when Lukas Jutkiewicz opened the scoring in the 13th minute.

Jutkiewicz’s opener only lasted four minutes though as Ethan Pinnock replied for the visitors.

The second half saw both sides fail to create any clear cut chances, although both did have four shots a piece on target.

With the game ending in a draw, Brentford kept their place of fifth in the league table, sitting four points off Leeds United – who sit in the second automatic promotion place.
