Blackburn Rovers were left frustrated in the race for a top six spot on Saturday afternoon, as they were beaten 1-0 by Stoke City at the Bet365 Stadium.

Nick Powell's early header was enough to secure all three points for the Potters, who almost settled for a 1-0 win from the moment they got into that position six minutes into the game.

Tony Mowbray's were unable to break down that defence, meaning they were forced to return to Lancashire empty handed.

Perhaps not surprisingly, that performance from their side was not one that many Blackburn fans were pleased with as they took to Twitter to give their thoughts on the game, and one individual who seemed to cause a fair amount of disappointment, was Sam Gallagher.

Played out wide in a left wing role, Gallagher put in another poor performance, as he struggled to really make an impact either in terms of creating or taking chances, from a position that is admittedly not natural for him, which did not go unnoticed by a number of Blackburn fans.

Here, we take a look at what some of those supporters had to say about the attacker.
