There was only one topic on Middlesbrough supporters' lips when the team to face Barnsley emerged.

While Marvin Johnson missed the game through suspension, it was the absence of Darren Randolph which really got fans talking.

The goalkeeper has been one of Middlesbrough's best players this season after putting in some stunning displays between the sticks.

Randolph has struggled with a thigh injury so far this term but returned for the clash with Queens Park Rangers before the international break.

He then started the game against Hull City at the weekend, but has since suffered a setback with his injury.

Jonathan Woodgate said in his press conference that the stopper was rated '50/50' to feature against the Tykes, and it appears that Randolph has just missed out on being ready for this one.

As you'd expect, many supporters have taken to social media to respond to his absence - and they're not happy.
