After an unsuccessful first year for Tom Lawrence in Leicester, a loan move could be the perfect medicine for the Welsh star.

The former Manchester United youth product joined Leicester City, after catching the eye of Foxes boss Nigel Pearson.

Before making his first appearance for his new Leicester side, Lawrence was sent out on loan to Championship side Rotherham for a month, where he performed well for the month spell contributing one goal in six appearances.

On his return to Leicester City, Lawrence has struggled to feature for the club who were battling against relegation. Pearson can't be blamed for not utilising Lawrence after having to save his side from the brink of the drop to the greatest escape the Premier League has ever seen.

Known for his versatility, Lawrence is able to fill a variety of different attacking positions including central midfield, attacking midfield, both wings and he can even play as a striker.

At 21-years old and with Leicester set to improve their squad over the summer, this could be the perfect time for Lawrence to enter the loan market and join a Championship side to gain the first team experience he is in need of.

Quick footed, agile and with perfect vision, Lawrence could be a stand out star for any Championship side willing to take him on a short term basis. The two perfect clubs for Lawrence to link up with are either Leeds or Reading, with both sides lacking in attacking flair and the ability to score goals.

Other clubs that could benefit from the addition of Lawrence include Birmingham, Blackburn, Derby and a possible return to Rotherham United.
