Nottingham Forest manager Sabri Lamouchi will be looking for an immediate reaction from his side, after back-to-back defeats have seen his side fall from second to eighth in the Championship, and make his 10 match unbeaten run seem something of a distant memory.

Ahead of the weekend visit of Reading, the manager has some selection decisions to make, one of which will be whether to stick with left-back Jack Robinson or give a start to 22-year-old Yuri Ribeiro, who has been used predominately from the bench so far this season.

So should Ribeiro get the nod over Robinson against Reading?

We discuss..........

“I think it’s worth the change. While neither have particularly done much wrong to deserve being dropped, Ribiero might offer more attacking presence than Robinson.

“Forest are playing Reading at home in their next fixture and will look to get on the front foot from the start, which might lend itself more to a more attacking full-back in Ribiero.

“Ribiero’s last outing was in Forest’s 1-0 defeat to Wigan but was fielded at right-midfield instead of his more natural left side, and was bound to perform worse, as did the whole team.

“While Jack Robinson offers more protection defensively, Lamouchi might sacrifice that in exchange for more impetus going forward to get back to winning ways.”

George Brooks

"I think so. Robinson is a good player and he's done well so far this season, but he's struggled in the last two games against Wigan and Hull.

"I think Ribiero deserves another chance in the team. He's an exciting player and he's got something about him.

"I can't see him getting a chance in midfield again, so if him keeping his place in the team means Robinson dropping to the bench, then that's what should happen in my opinion.

"Ribiero is looking like he could be a great signing for Forest and he could have an important role to play in their promotion push this season.

"After back-to-back defeats, it's so important that Forest win this game and Lamouchi needs to get his team selection right - especially after making five changes against Wigan last week."

"Following the midweek defeat to Hull City at the City Ground, Sabri Lamouchi will have a lot to think about heading into Saturday's game against Reading, and one of those things may well be whether to bring in Ribeiro for Robinson at left-back.

"Robinson, like most left-backs in the Championship, was given a tough game by Hull's Jarrod Bowen in midweek, and as such Lamouchi will be feeling he might need to bring in Ribeiro to tighten up Forest's defence for the visit of Reading.

"Ribeiro has been in and out of the side since his arrival from Benfica in the summer, but he has managed to show glimpses of his ability both at getting forwards in support of attacks and making life difficult for his winger to get by him and create chances.

"Given Forest have lost two in a row, it might be time for Lamouchi to give Ribeiro a consistent run of games in the side and see what he can do, with Robinson still a very useful option to call upon if needed."
