Birmingham City are expected to be without Josh McEachran for a lengthy period after the midfielder was forced off with a knee injury in Tuesday's FA Cup victory over Coventry.

Whilst the full extent of his injury hasn't yet been revealed, boss Pep Clotet admitted it doesn't look good and it has presented the Spaniard with a problem in the middle of the park.

McEachran has been featuring regularly recently in recent weeks and even though the likes of Ivan Sunjic, Gary Gardner, Maikel Kieftenbeld and Jude Bellingham are available, Blues may feel short in that area of the pitch.

Therefore, the decision to send David Davis to Charlton on loan in the final hours of the recent transfer window could be a decision Blues regret.

That question was put to the Birmingham City Fan Zone Facebook Group and it prompted a mixed response from the supporters.

Can you name every Birmingham City player’s shirt number?

Here we look at some of the comments...

Ryan Griffin: Of course! Should have kept him anyway always puts a shift in!

Philip Conley: Problem is he wouldn’t of played anyway if he was still here they’ve had a falling out apparently.

Matt King: No we wont. Lets get one thing straight, Davis is a workhorse and nothing else. No technical ability at all, Kieftenbeld is back and I'd much rather have Kief than Davis.

Rob Howells: I did like the look of Boyde-Munce, worked very hard.

Kelvyn Hemborough: use Bellingham, Boyd-Munce and Concannon until Kief is fully fit with Sunjic and Gardner.

Richard Daly: We've got better youngsters than him, great time to use them.

Ryan O'Neill: Kieftenbeld is back.
