Darren Moore has indicated that reserve keeper Jonathan Bond will likely play a role in tonight's FA Cup 4th round replay against Brighton and Hove Albion, after already keeping two clean sheets in the competition.

The 25-year-old former Watford stopper has been capped up to England Under 21 level, but until recently was third choice at the Hawthorns. He's got past Boaz Myhill to become the understudy to Sam Johnstone, but as yet hasn't made an appearance in the league.

As well as the successive clean sheets, he also earned a Man of the Match award for his display against Chris Hughton's side in the first tie and he's showing enough promise for West Brom fans to call for a league start as well.

The Baggies signed Sam Johnstone for £6.5m in the summer as the regular number one, but he's been under some pressure recently and it seems that the recent revelation by Darren Moore that Bond is in line for a start is pleasing them immensely.

If he comes out of tonight unscathed, there's a real sense that some Baggies fans would like to see him finally get a Championship start, as you can read below.
