If you had to think about the most frustrating side to watch in the Championship at the moment, surely Sheffield Wednesday would be one of the first names to mind.

The men from Hillsborough have had a very inconsistent campaign so far and the weekend duly summed that up as they followed their win over Leeds up with a loss to Bolton - the Trotters' first win of their Championship campaign.

For sure, then, many are thinking that they need to make some changes ahead of their game with Derby County - especially with the Rams buzzing after a win against Nottingham Forest.

Thinking about team selection, then, we're wondering whether it is time Lucas Joao gets to start up top alongside Gary Hooper.

Joao can either be brilliant or terrible but with Gary Hooper the only source of goals for Wednesday, it's got to be worth a go.

Indeed, with Steven Fletcher going missing at the weekend and Jordan Rhodes injured, if Carlos Carvalhal wants to keep with his 4-4-2 he surely has to go with Joao up top.

Of course, it is a real risk against a Rams side that is now looking to push on but Wednesday need something different at the moment, and Joao is about the best player going forwards that they have available to make a change.

And, with Rhodes out and Fletcher out of form, the striker might just be hungry to take his chance and make his place in the side a more permanent arrangement.
