It was a frustrating evening for Huddersfield Town on Tuesday as they could only muster a draw with fellow Championship strugglers Birmingham City at the John Smith’s Stadium.

After a quiet first half, Fraizer Campbell notched his seventh goal of the season with a stunning strike after Harlee Dean’s mistake on the hour mark to put the Terriers in front.

But the lead would only last for four minutes as Blues defender Marc Roberts blasted in from close range after a corner caused confusion in the Town box.

The result does neither side any favours in the predicament both find themselves in but the draw ended a two-game losing run for Huddersfield and pushes them eight points clear of the relegation places, but the West Yorkshire side continue to look over their shoulder with 12 games remaining.

Next up for Town is the visit of in-form Cardiff City who have been galvanised under the management of Mick McCarthy and look a good shout for the play-offs come the end of the season.

Veteran defender Richard Stearman completed his first 90 minutes since the 4-3 defeat at Stoke City in November after missing two months with a hamstring injury suffered in a win over Middlesbrough at the beginning of December.

The 33-year-old, who took a knock to the face during the first half which saw Dean receive a yellow card, spoke to the club’s official YouTube channel after the match speaking passionately “about digging in and fighting for the points” and several Huddersfield fans took to social media to support the centre-back.

Here, we take a look at what some of the supporters had to say:
