Barnsley picked up their first victory of the Championship season last night, putting Queens Park Rangers to the sword to win 3-0 at Oakwell. 

Cauley Woodrow, Connor Chaplin and an own goal from Yohan Barbet gave the Tykes the perfect start to life under new boss, Valérien Ismaël.

He was in the dugout for the first time since his appointment as Barnsley boss, with the former Crystal Palace player watching his side rise to 16th in the Championship table.

Whilst it is only one victory for the Tykes, it appears that Ismaël is already convincing a lot of Barnsley fans with his methods.

The new boss has had something of a whirlwind week since his appointment, but now he's well underway and has the first win of the season under his belt.

And, the fans were quick to flock to Twitter to deliver an early verdict on the 45-year-old.

As you might expect, there were some positive comments floating around...
