Loads of Porstmouth fans have reacted to the brilliant midweek performance of attacker Ellis Harrison after they saw off Southend United 4-1 on Tuesday night.

The result moved the South Coast side to within five points of the top-six and eased the pressure on manager Kenny Jackett after what had been a painfully slow start to the campaign.

But they roared to victory against the Shrimpers with Harrison netting twice, first crashing in a close range effort off the bar before converting a second half penalty.

John Marquis and Marcus Harness netted either side of the strikes to round off an emphatic, and frankly badly needed, display for Portsmouth.

It was just their fifth win of the season but they will now be hoping that some momentum can be built from the victory moving forward.

And for loads of fans, it is clear that they want Harrison to be at the forefront...
