Nottingham Forest are back in action this weekend as they head to Birmingham City looking for another three points.

The men from the City Ground have looked in decent shape this season and they'll be looking to give their play-off hopes another shot in the arm with a win against the Blues.

Which of the players will be wishing he was a part of things more, though? We're taking a look at Forest's most under-utilised star...

Sam Rourke

It has to be Zach Clough.

It's hard for Clough to break into the first-team at Forest at present, with the abundance of talent Warburton has at his disposal.

But the former Bolton man should be feeling frustrated, because he has so much potential and needs game-time to develop and progress as a footballer.

Alfie Burns

Ben Brereton.

Last year, Brereton was sensational for Forest having broken into the first-team, but this season, the teenager can’t seem to get anywhere near Warburton’s side.

Of course, it is a long season and I’m sure Brereton will get an opportunity, but it is certainly a surprise to not see him in the picture at the current time.

Chris Gallagher

Up until last month it would have to have been Eric Lichaj.

However, the American has deservedly won his place back, so I'd go for Ben Brereton.

Forest do have a lot of options in the final third, but the talented 18-year old hasn't played a minute in the league since September.

He can still make a big impact when he's given the chance, even as a sub.

Adam Simeoni

It has to be Zach Clough.

The former Bolton man is a sensational young player, but the form of Kieran Dowell has kept him out of the side this season.

Clough has massive potential and will go on to become a top quality Championship midfielder, but he needs the minutes now to ensure he does not stagnate.
