Leeds United might have taken all three points against Ipswich last night, but that was only the start of their victories.

Former One Direction star turned solo artist Niall Horan waxed lyrical about Derby County's result, but when a Leeds fan asked him for an opinion on his own side, he replied 'No one likes Leeds'.

That prompted a barrage of Tweets from Leeds fans and football fans in general, but one reply came from an unlikely source, the Leeds United official Twitter site. They replied telling Horan no one likes his solo career, using the hashtag #BringBack1D.

Fans love to see personality from their club, be it on the pitch or through the official social media channels and in replying Leeds earned themselves a whole load of respect.

Overwhelmingly fans felt that they'd got one over on the former One Direction star, sealing a second victory inside just a few short hours. Many went to bed with smiles on their faces, others took to Twitter to applaud the club's response.

Even Northern Premier League side Ossett Albion congratulated Leeds on their fine social media jousting.
