Stuart Dallas has been impressing for Leeds United this season, shining for Marcelo Bielsa’s promotion-chasing Whites.

Leeds are sitting second in the Championship as things stand, with Dallas a key member of the squad, starting all 15 league games and scoring one goal.

He’s played most of his football at right-back, but has had a stint in central midfield and wing-back, as well as having the capability to play at left-back, as he did in the play-off semi-finals last year.

Over on a Facebook supporter group, that’s led to people debating whether he’s the new Rolls Royce – the nickname famously given to Paul Madeley, a servant of Don Revie during Leeds’ glory days.

Of course, Dallas would be the first to admit he isn’t in that class, but it is a debate that is a nod to his current form.

Surprisingly, it has sparked quite a mixed reaction, with some Leeds fans getting on the back of the Northern Irish international, despite his fine start to the season, after a quieter afternoon against QPR on Saturday.

Here is a look at what was said on Facebook…

Mark Kershaw "Dallas was shocking vs QPR"

Raymond Jones "Dallas as had a outstanding start to season he is really playing well MOT ALAW"

Paul Murphy "I think Dallas is an average player at best"

Mick Smith "Dallas was poor v QPR."

Nigel Dean "Got us out of trouble a few times this season 4-5 positions due to injuries and the fella has stood up to the mark"

Nick Peel "I never understood why Marcelo left him out of the team for a lot of last year’s early season…."
