Derby County difficult start to the Championship season continued on Wednesday, as they suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to QPR at Pride Park.

In a game in which the visitors largely dominated the chances, Macauley Bonne's 88th minute header was enough to secure all three points for QPR, making it two wins on the bounce for them.

For Derby however, it is now just one and six defeats from their ten league games so far this season, meaning Phillip Cocu's side currently sit 23rd in the Championship table, two points from safety.

One player who seemed to struggle in particular for Derby on Wednesday night, was Tom Lawrence, with the attacker failing to really make an impact on the game, either in terms of posing a direct threat to the QPR goal, or creating chances for others in a Derby shirt.

That is something that did not go unnoticed by a number of Derby fans as they took to Twitter to give their thoughts on the game, with many critical of Lawrence's performance as they did so.

Here, we take a look at what some of those supporters had to say.
