Swansea City saw their unbeaten away record in the Championship come to an end on Sunday afternoon as they suffered an emphatic 5-1 defeat at the hands of league leaders West Brom.

The Baggies produced an electric performance against Steve Cooper's side with Semi Ajayi, Matheus Pereira, Hal Robson-Kanu, Matt Phillips and Kyle Edwards all on target, while Sam Surridge scored the visitors only goal in the first half.

The result means Swansea are now without a win in their last five league matches, while they have slipped down to 11th in the Championship despite having led the table back in September after winning five of their first six games.

Supporters will feel particularly concerned by the nature of Swansea's defeat at The Hawthorns as they always looked second best against a strong West Brom side, with there being little doubt surrounding the game's outcome after Ajayi put Albion ahead.
