Reading lost top spot in the Championship on Saturday, as they suffered a disappointing 4-2 defeat to promotion rivals AFC Bournemouth.
The Royals took the lead through Lucas Joao, as he fired home from the penalty spot, after Alfa Semedo had been brought down by Cherries goalkeeper Asmir Begović.
That lead was doubled shortly before half-time as Sone Aluko rounded off a hugely impressive move by Veljko Paunovic’s side.
But Jason Tindall’s men came out a completely different side for all the right reasons in the second-half, as Dominic Solanke halved Reading’s lead, before Arnaut Danjuma equalised for the hosts shortly after.
Lewis Cook then netted a stunning third goal from distance, before Solanke made it four, after Reading goalkeeper Rafael made a mess of clearing his lines when under pressure from the former Chelsea and Liverpool forward.
This isn’t the first time Rafael has made a costly error this season, with his recent performances coming under-fire from a number of the Madejski Stadium faithful.

That goal this afternoon was absolutely shocking

That second half was absolutely pathetic #readingfc. What has happened to Rafael?!

outfield players have been dropped for far less. The errors are glaring and can’t be ignored. Even missing one game may be all it takes to make a change. He’s made errors that haven’t contributed to goals and his confidence must be at rock bottom. No brainer #readingfc

He’s been our worst player in the four games we’ve lost imo 🤷♂️

Absolutely disgraceful. As much as I love Rafael and as clear as day it is that he’s an unreal keeper, now is the time to give Southwood a chance. Poor lad must be so low on confidence

Rafael has been superb for us at times since signing but too many mistakes in the last few games. 13 goals conceded in the last 4 games, think it’s time to give Southwood a chance #readingfc

Maybe Rafael needs to be on bench for a game or two let Southwood have a go and make him fight for his spot #readingfc

Hahahahahaahahahaha and people think Rafael is a good keeper. Said it for months, OVERRATED. #ReadingFC

Pure comedy. Rafael has been utterly shocking for a good few games now and should be dropped. #readingfc
