Sheffield Wednesday fell to a frustrating 1-0 defeat to Millwall at The Den on Saturday.

Lee Bullen’s side fell behind when Matt Smith opened the scoring on 37 minutes. But their chances of coming away from the game with something were increased as Jed Wallace was shown a red card just two minutes before half-time.

Despite their dominance in the second-half, the Owls were unable to make the breakthrough and left Millwall with nothing to show for their efforts.

It leaves Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship table, and they’ve lost top spot after their first league defeat of this year’s campaign.

They’ll be hoping to get back to winning ways when they take on Luton Town in midweek, as they look to return to the top-two.

Plenty of Sheffield Wednesday fans took to social media to voice their thoughts after the defeat, and some supporters certainly weren't pleased with the performance.
