Shock Premier League interest emerges in impressive £15m Hull City star

Manchester United are lining up a shock £15m move for Hull City defender Andy Robertson this summer, according to the Sun.

The Scottish defender has been hugely impressive since joining the Humberside outfit from Dundee United in 2014, despite their relegation to the Championship last season.

Such is the nature of his impressive form, the Red Devils are thought to be weighing up a £15m this summer in order to help them alleviate some of the problems they have suffered in the left-back berth.

A horrific injury to Luke Shaw back in September has provided manager Louis van Gaal with a number of problems in the position, as the likes of Marcos Rojo continue to struggle.

With the Tigers’ hopes of an automatic return to the top tier at the first time of asking fading away as the games run out, such a hefty fee from a big club could see the Scot depart.

Steve Bruce’s side are nine points off the top two with just six games remaining and face a tough visit of Wolves on Friday, looking to bounce back from two games without a win.
