Norwich City manager Daniel Farke is wanted by German outfit Eintracht Frankfurt, according to a report from German publication, Sport1.

The Canaries manager has struggled in his first season in charge at Carrow Road, guiding the club to a lower half of the table finish and seeing his side hammered 5-1 over the weekend to round off a disappointing campaign on the whole.

However, this does not appear to have put off the Bundesliga club, who are looking for a new manager after seeing current boss Nico Kovac secure a move to giants of the league Bayern Munich this summer.

Farke is thought to be one of a host of contenders to interest the German club, who will be keen to sort out their new manager ahead of a busy summer as they look to improve on this season's bottom half of the table finish in the German top flight.

Norwich brought in Farke last summer as a replacement for the outgoing Alex Neil, and he was expected to lead the club towards promotion. However, things have not quite gone his way, and he has won only 18 of his half a century of games in charge of the Anglian club.

Norwich fans, what do you make of this news? Would you be sad to see Farke leave? Let us know in the comments!
