Ojo has two years remaining on his contract with parent club Liverpool, and despite several loan moves throughout his career, he has made 13 appearances for the Merseyside club already.

The Verdict

This may be somewhat disappointing from a Cardiff City perspective.

Ojo does have a fairly decent record for them this season, and with Junior Hoilett already on his way out of the club, they may have wanted to keep the Liverpool man around for next season at least, to ensure they are not too short of numbers in the wide areas.

These comments from Ojo however, feel very much like he is bidding farewell to Cardiff, which does indicate that he will not be back in the Welsh capital next season.

But while that may be frustrating for Cardiff, you could understand Ojo's desire to push for a chance in the Premier League next season, given he is at the age where he will be wanting to make a breakthrough at that level for the good of his career.
