Sheffield Wednesday have had an indifferent decade, with some high and low moments for fans to remember.

Being promoted to the Championship in 2004/05, the Owls spent five years in the division before being relegated to League One in 2010.

Unlike their city rivals, Wednesday only spent two seasons in the third tier, and were promoted automatically in 2012, after a good run of form including goals from Gary Madine.

Since then, Wednesday have established themselves as a standard Championship side, and have flirted with promotion.

Wednesday made the play-offs two seasons running under Carlos Carvalhal, but fell short on both occasions.

Overall, it has probably been a pleasing period, but there have been some embarrassing moments to go with it.

Relegation to League One was a particularly bad point for Wednesday fans.

Alan Irvine was the manager as his Owls side let in a shocking 69 goals and were relegated in 22nd place in what was a dismal season.
