Things are far from settled at Sheffield Wednesday right now with the Owls struggling for form and many wanting Jos Luhukay to pack his bags.

He remains in charge of the team, though, and will this weekend be looking to navigate a Yorkshire derby against Rotherham.

We caught up with Wednesday fan Louis Shackshaft of the Championship Pod once again, then, to grab his views ahead of this one:

Wednesday are getting drawn towards the dropzone - how much concern is there about a relegation battle right now?

The fans are becoming very concerned and the real reason behind our distress is that our performances have been awful of late, in-fact they have been dreadful all season, give or take a few games.

Despite the recent win against Bolton, Wednesday then failed to capitalise on this morale-boosting victory in their next fixture against Blackburn and were deservedly beaten on the day. Something needs to change, fast. We seem to be slipping closer to the relegation zone game by game and it doesn’t help the matter when the teams below us are starting to pick up points.

Barry Bannan has racked up 9 yellows already this season - is his discipline a worry?

Not particularly. I think most of his bookings have been through frustration more than anything, particularly when we are losing or when he’s trying to recover the ball. He’s not a dirty player by any means. Bannan is one of only a few players that can hold their head up high this season so his disciplinary record is not a worry in my opinion, however, he will certainly be missed when he inevitably picks up another yellow and serves a suspension.

Rotherham have shown some fight this season, what is their main threat?

Collectively as a team, Rotherham have a lot of spirit and determination. Although, on paper, Wednesday have a decent team with talented individuals, it could be the ‘fight’ as you mention that ensures Rotherham come away with something in this contest. I will, however, be keeping a watchful eye on Ryan Manning, he could pose a real threat in this tie.

Wednesday's team is anyone's guess right now. Which players must start this one?

You’re right, Jos has an aggressive squad rotation policy that keeps us all guessing, all be it, this is having a detrimental effect in my eyes. To answer your question though, Hector, Bannan, Reach and Forestieri all must play if we are to get anything from this game and put up a much needed convincing performance. Unfortunately though, I’m not the gaffer, so like you say, the starting eleven is a guessing game to some extent.

Score prediction

Obviously I want Wednesday to win and they ‘should’ win at home, but, I have to be realistic. Rotherham are draw specialists at the moment and the Owls are on a terrible run of form. I, therefore, expect the Millers to take a point in this game, they have a decent record against us in recent years.

1-1 is my prediction.
