Sheffield Wednesday are hoping to make at least another signing before the close of the transfer window later tonight, with a striker potentially top of Darren Moore's Deadline Day wishlist.

All things said and done, it's been a pretty decent window for the Owls with Moore doing well to reshape the squad and, looking at early season form, it appears as though it's in a shape that could provide a good campaign in the weeks and months ahead.

He's not resting on his laurels this Deadline Day, though, with Dom Howson revealing on social media that the plan for Wednesday is to try and add another face at least in the coming hours, potentially a striker:

The Verdict

Even if the Owls don't manage to bring another face in in the final hours of the window, they'll be pleased with the work they have done this summer.

There were natural concerns at the start of this market that the Owls were going to struggle to put together a squad but Darren Moore and co. have really pulled a few rabbits out of the hat to put together a handy enough looking squad.

A striker would be a nice way to end the window - we'll just have to wait and see if they can get that sorted.
