According to HITC Sport, Sheffield Wednesday are taking a look at Crystal Palace midfielder Jacob Berkeley-Agyepong.

Jacob Berkeley-Agyepong played for Sheffield Wednesday’s under-23 side on Monday 20th March against Charlton Athletic with the Yorkshire based side seemingly assessing whether to make a move for the youngster.

The 19-year-old, who turns 20 at the end of this month, previously scored a hat-trick for Crystal Palace’s under-18 side against Sheffield Wednesday in an FA Youth Cup fixture in December 2013.

The Owls are now trying to prise him away from the Eagles as the midfielder looks to impress.

After starting out as a left back, Croydon born Berkeley-Agyepong has become a winger with Crystal Palace’s youth sides but his appearance for Sheffield Wednesday’s under-23 side perhaps indicates that he will not be offered a new deal at Selhurst Park.

As well as Berkeley-Agyepong, Sheffield Wednesday have already recently had a look at Everton youngster Michael Donohue, who featured in their recent under-23 games against Hull and QPR.
