Sheffield Wednesday really need to get their act together at the moment with the Owls struggling to get any kind of form together whatsoever.

The men from Hillsborough came into this campaign looking to get themselves into the top six once more and this time earn promotion to the Premier League.

Instead, though, they are still looking a side dwelling on the past two seasons and their lack of spark up top is something that is costing them dear.

There's work to do, then, as the second half of the season approaches but left-sided star Adam Reach believes that the club can still finish in the top six.

Indeed, he has cited the fact that Wednesday do seem to get that bit stronger in the second half of the campaign and they'll certainly need to do that once more if they are to get into the top flight for next season.

As quoted by The Sheffield Star, he said:

“As long as we stay close to the play-offs coming into January then it is a long season and we always improve during the second half of it. We’re all still confident that we’ll be up there.”

Let's see, then, if Reach and co. can turn things around in the second half of the campaign. Some fans might suggest that Carlos Carvalhal shouldn't be in charge for then, meanwhile, and so let's see if he remains in the job too.
