In an Instagram Q&A on his official account, Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan has fielded a whole host of questions from supporters to help kill time in the current lockdown in the country.

The Scottish midfielder is seen as one of the most creative players at Hillsborough and his left foot is capable of finding passes that very few others could.

However, he and his team-mates will feel as though this season has not exactly gone to plan, with them falling away from the top six places in the Championship thanks to poor form in recent weeks.

The time away from the game gives them the chance to reflect on that, then, but also to interact with fans and that is what Bannan has been up to.

Can you get full marks on this Sheffield Wednesday quiz?

One question, then, asked him what he planned to do once he had retired from playing and, by the looks of things, he's aiming to stay in the sport in some capacity:

Bannan would surely be able to teach some players a few things with his technical ability particularly strong.

He's played at Premier League level and on the international stage so it makes sense perfect sense for him to try and stay in the game and pass on some of that knowledge.
