Sheffield Wednesday will be in the market for a new all-round midfielder this summer, after finishing 15th in the Championship table.

Jos Luhukay’s side are likely to have a busy transfer window and perhaps starting with Harrison Reed, who has spent the season out on loan at Norwich City from parent club Southampton, would be ideal.

While the 23-year-old has only played 17 times for the Saints since signing his first professional contract in 2013, his potential is high, and he has impressed during his loan spell with the Canaries this season

The Owls will certainly be hoping to look for a new player this summer, and the youngster would fit the style of Luhukay’s team.

Whether Reed is good enough to fit in Mark Hughes’ side that narrowly avoided relegation this season is yet to be seen, but Sheffield Wednesday could have a steal on the cards after the season Reed has produced.

As you can see above, we are looking at Harrison Reed’s stats for this season, during his loan spell at Daniel Farke’s side.

The young midfielder made 39 appearances for the Canaries during the campaign, chipping in with one goal along the way.

It isn’t his goal-scoring ability that could see his move to Sheffield Wednesday however, as he ended the season with three assists, a pass success rate of 88%, and 45 passes on average each match too, showing he is an all-round midfielder.

While the youngster only averaged 2.2 tackles per match through this campaign, Harrison Reed would fit nicely into Jos Luhukay’s side for the start of next season.
