Championship side Sheffield Wednesday are set to slip behind Rangers in the race for Norwich midfielder Graham Dorrans, according to TEAMtalk.
The 30-year-old moved to Carrow Road back in 2015 after a decent loan spell with the club the season before, and has since his permanent move gone on to make 49 appearances for the Canaries, bagging six goals.
And all six of those strikes came last term as the Scotland international helped the Norfolk-based club finish eighth in the Championship, although he may not get to add to that tally again as interest is rife in the midfielder from both north and south of the border.
And Scottish giants Rangers are reportedly looking to steal a march on Carlos Carvalhal’s Sheffield Wednesday by improving their bid for Dorrans, as new boss Pedro Caixinha seeks to bolster his squad after a disappointing return to the top-flight last season.
Both of those sides will be looking at how they can improve their teams ahead of a promotion push next season, and given that Dorrans has scored goals and achieved promotion before with West Brom, he would likely be a great addition.
Nonetheless, it is Rangers who lead the race for the 30-year-old.
