It has been a tricky start to the season for Sheffield Wednesday, who have not won any of their opening three Championship fixtures.

A loss at newly promoted Wigan Athletic got the ball rolling, with a 2-0 loss against Brentford following at the weekend. So far, their only point has come against Hull City.

Jos Luhakay was not able to make a single new signing this summer, with the club placed under a transfer embargo, and he is yet to make the most of the loan window either following the lifting of that embargo.

So there has been plenty going on off the pitch that has undoubtedly contributed to the Owls' failings on it so far this campaign.

Here is a round-up of the latest news from Hillsborough.

An angry fanbase

The reaction to the 2-0 loss to Brentford on Saturday was not a happy one.

There was plenty of anger aimed at everybody at the club, from the players to the board.

Here is a selection of their post-match thoughts...

A potential killer blow

One event that could completely derail Wednesday's season would be the loss of star man Fernando Forestieri, and the Yorkshire Post have reported he could still leave in a loan to buy deal.

This would be a monumental blow to Wednesday's hopes of having a good season.

A glimmer of hope

Sam Winnall announced on social media this week that he has nearly returned to full fitness.

The Hillsborough faithful were equally excited by the striker's potential return, after he suffered a serious knee injury earlier in the year whilst on loan with Derby County.
