Sheffield Wednesday have endured a miserable season so far, with the Owls in a desperate fight to stay in the Championship.

With a little gap having opened up between the Yorkshire outfit and the rest of the relegation candidates, it's clear that Neil Thompson's men need to start winning games.

So, all attention is on the huge fixture at Luton Town tomorrow, with the game presenting a chance for Wednesday to pick up a much-needed three points.

However, there has still been a lot of other things going on at Hillsborough, and here we will provide a round-up of the latest news...

Adam Reach contract discussions take place

This is going to be a huge summer for the Owls, and they have plenty of senior figures out of contract that they need to make decisions on. A few have already been made, with the influential Barry Bannan extending his stay with the club.

And, it's now been revealed that talks have been underway with Adam Reach over a new contract.

Whilst he has been an important player over the years, the left-sider has been poor for large spells this season.

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru facing spell out

There was more bad news on the injury front for the Owls, as midfielder Dele-Bashiru suffered a setback following a bad challenge in the recent defeat at Brentford.

Speaking to the media, Thompson confirmed that the youngster is now set for around six weeks on the sidelines.

Chansiri remains committed to club

As well as the teams struggles, there have been off-field issues at Wednesday this season, which included the players not getting paid on time.

Furthermore, there were suggestions that Erik Alonso wanted to buy the club, but owner Dejphon Chansiri refused to sell.

And, reporter Dom Howson has reiterated that remains the case, with the Owls chief still committed to Wednesday.
