On-loan Coventry City midfielder David Prutton has announced that he is unsure on what the future holds for him next season.
He has hinted that he would like to remain with the Sky Blues next season once his loan spell expires.
Since joining the Sky Blues in late March he has made six appearances and has shown some real signs of promise for a player of his age. Steven Pressley admitted that he would love to make Prutton a permanent member of his squad but due to the current financial issues surrounding the club he is unsure as to whether a contract can be signed.
Prutton would be available for nothing as his contract with parent club Sheffield Wednesday also expires in the summer.
City currently lie in a precarious position in the league table but a win against Wolverhampton this weekend will ensure their safety in the division.
Prutton admitted that the transfer will only happen if Coventry escape relegation ,but with times being tough and with the team currently being out of form ,he may not be a Coventry player at the end of the season.
