Sheffield Wednesday have made a transfer bid for Fulham defender, Michael Hector, according to talkSPORT

Hector was a crucial part of the Fulham team that won promotion to the Premier League last season, making a huge impact in his 23 appearances after he was cleared to play after January following his summer move from Chelsea.

But the centre-back has struggled in the topflight, producing some poor form which has seen Fulham concede 11 times in their opening four league matches.

Fulham responded to their defensive problems by signing Joachim Andersen and Tosin Adarabioyo, leaving Hector's short-term future in doubt. Daniel Taylor from The Athletic reported earlier this week that QPR were interested in signing him, but now Geoff Peters believes that Wednesday have entered the race to re-sign the defender, and have launched a bid.
Hector spent the entire 2018-2019 campaign on loan at Hillsborough and made a significant which saw him named as the Owls' Player of the Year.

Have Sheffield Wednesday ever loaned out any of these 9 players?

The Verdict This would be one of the best pieces of deadline-day business if Wednesday can seal a return for Hector. He's already proved to be one of the best defenders in the Championship in recent seasons and after the addition of Jack Marriott this morning, adding Hector would signal an extremely good deadline-day for Gary Monk's men.
