Championship play-off hopefuls Sheffield Wednesday and Cardiff are looking to sign Bristol City midfielder Marlon Pack, according to HITC.
As well as those two clubs, soon-to-be Championship side Aston Villa are also interested in making Pack their own ahead of their first season in the second tier since the late 1980’s.
Pack has made 46 appearances in all competitions this season, and is yet to be dropped by new manager Lee Johnson. In addition to this, the new boss has made him captain on multiple occasions in recent times.
The 25-year old defensive-minded midfielder has been extremely important in the club’s survival in the Championship this term, in addition to his heroics as they won Sky Bet League One last season.
Pack played a key role in City’s 4-1 win over the Owls at the start of April, winning man of the match for his troubles.
Since signing at Ashton Gate from Cheltenham in 2013, Pack has gone on to make 120 appearances in the league, scoring four times.
What do you think? Would Pack be a good signing for any of the mentioned teams? Would Bristol City be foolish to let him go? Let us know what you think via the comments box below!
