The winger had a fantastic season with Rovers this season and impressed fans with some explosive performances, and he was linked with a move to Derby county on the back end of 2014, but that move never came to fruition.

The former Manchester United man is now subject to rich boys Sheffield Wednesday, who have just been taken over by a Thai billionaire ready to invest in a bid for promotion next year.

They were also linked with Blackburn top scorer Jordan Rhodes, who looks set to leave Blackburn Rovers this summer.

Gary Bowyer has admitted he's making plans for life without Rhodes, as well as second top scorer Rudy Gestede, but it looks like he doesn't want to lose Marshall.

In a disappointing season for Blackburn, the 23-year-old scored seven times whilst making seven assists
