Sheffield Wednesday fans should be fearing the worst ahead of Brentford tonight if star brings his A-game

Sheffield Wednesday take on Brentford this evening at Hillsborough in what will be the Owls’ toughest game in recent weeks.

The Bees come into this one in impressive form, and their late charge to the play-off’s has gone largely under the radar to many, but they will fancy their chances of breaking into the top six before the end of the season.

They thrashed Hull City 5-1 at the weekend and will come into their game against Sheffield Wednesday this evening, full of confidence.

Both sides will feel as though they have a chance of making a late surge for the top six, but a defeat for either side could spell the end of any aspirations they had of reaching that goal.

One man who is going to pose a real threat to the Sheffield Wednesday team tonight is Said Benrahma, who didn’t put a foot wrong in their win at the weekend.

The winger netted a stunning hat-trick and was their main attacking outlet going forward against the Tigers at Griffin Park.

The Algerian joined Brentford in the summer of 2018, and failed to hit the ground running, but is seemingly making up for lost time with a number of impressive performances of late.

Sheffield Wednesday should be fearing the worst if he is to turn up for this game, as he could single-handedly win Brentford this one.

He’ll keep the likes of Liam Palmer on his toes, that’s for sure.

His pace, trickery and eye for goal make him one of the most dangerous wingers in the Championship on his day, and he’ll be confident of adding to his goal tally against the Owls this evening.

You have to fear, that if the Bees are to take an early lead, then it could play into their hand, with an expectant Hillsborough crowd wanting three points, and the atmosphere could turn hostile.

If Sheffield Wednesday don’t shut Benrahma out of the game, then they’re in trouble, and he’ll definitely make them pay tonight.
